Our August meeting was a PAST social to talk about our new projects and inform our guests about the PAST association. Ther were 22 people in attendance and we gained seven new members. I would like to thank the Jura family for the great dinosaur fossils they provided at the meeting to share with the group. Members Ken and Kathy Agains and Kevin James, where also great speaking with our visitors about the club. I like to welcome our new members Linda Cox, Peggy Berry, Laura Henley, Jesse, Mary, Jessie and James Herrera. Its great to have you all in the association. As we grow in number and skills, so do our opportunities.

Also in August, Past was invited to give a class on dinosaur teeth for the Southwest Gem and Mineral Society. The meeting was held on the 12th, and they had an attendance of about 29 people. We pasted out replicas of different dinosaur teeth and after the lecture we had the participants identify their individual dino teeth type. It was very enjoyable class and many of the class members asked if they could keep the teeth. So they happily received a nice souvenir from the PAST association. One of the main reasons this class was a success was the assistance of PAST members Dena Hundley and Gilberto Sanchez. Thanks for all of your teamwork.
