| 281 Site To get to the site, take Hwy 281 North until you reach the intersection of Hwy 281 and Hwy 46. From that intersection continue North on Hwy 281 for another mile. The site is a road cut on the right side of 281. The site is brimming with Cretaceous aged sea fossils. The digging is moderate to hard. Windmill Hill Site To get to the site, take Hwy 281 North until you reach the intersection at 46. Turn left on to 46 and go down about 1.2 miles. The site will be on the left side of the road. Site discovered by Ken Agans. This site is rich in Cretaceous sea fossils. This site was recently discovered and has been worked lightly. The digging is easy to moderate. |
